Offered by Chu Hai College of Higher Education, this program aims to teach students the foundation of computer science. Computer science core, Internet systems and software development are among the courses taught. The program, which can take either two or three years to complete, features an internship scheme that allow students to apply what they've learned in the actual field. At the end of the program, students either gain 75 credits (two years) or 90 credits (three years).
Chu Hai College of Higher Education was originally known as Chu Hai University and was founded in 1947 in Guangzhou, China. In 1949, the university moved to Hong Kong where it acquired its current name.

Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, offered by The University of Hong Kong (HKU), is an approach to computer science's basic concepts and theories as well as the engineering's techniques and methodologies.
