How to Cite Short Stories in MLA

Writing an essay can be a daunting task for some, and an endless adventure for others. No matter your love or dislike of writing, the correct citing of sources must be employed. Most assigned papers will come with instructions on which citation format should be used. There has been some confusion between the two most common research and citation styles, MLA (Modern Language Association) and APA (American Psychological Association), which cite sources differently. MLA cites short stories in a concise, easy-to-follow format.

title in italics) Ed. Tobias Wolff. New York: Vintage, 1994. 306-07. Print.
