  1. How to Resell a Textbook to Barnes & Noble

      Go to Barnes & Noble's website. Click on the "Textbook" tab. You will be redirected to another screen. You will see a "Sell Books" tab on the right side of the screen. Click on "Learn More."

      Enter your ISBN number. You can find the ISBN number on the back of the textbook. You can enter additional ISBN numbers by using a comma to separate them. Click "Get a Quote."

      If your textbook is eligible for buyback, the title, author and picture of your textbook will appear on another screen. You will also be given the buyback price and the date that the buyback price expires.

      Accept the quote by checking the "Add to Quote" box. Then, click the green "Next Step: Review Quote" button.

      Click the green "Sell My Books" button. You will be redirected to another page. Enter your shipping address and accept the terms and conditions. Click the green "Submit and Sell" button."

      Print your shipping label. You can also print the label from your email. Barnes & Noble will send you an email.

      Pack your textbook in a box with Styrofoam packing peanuts or bubble wrap. Make sure that you ship any CDs and study guides that were included with your textbook so that you may receive full credit. Ship your textbook using the shipping label. Once your textbook is received, you will receive a check from Barnes & Noble.
