The Capital and Northeast Region campus is primarily located at Fort Belvoir, Va. The region also has a campus in Fort Monmouth, N.J. The Virginia campus serves as the nearest location to Washington D.C., the Pentagon and other Department of Defense agencies. Fort Belvoir is also the center for the Defense Systems Management College--School of Program Managers. The school provides management training for the Acquisition, Technology & Logistics division of the Department of Defense.
The DAU Mid-Atlantic Region has three campuses in the U.S. and one in Germany. The primary campus is in California, Md., near Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The other American campuses are in Chester and Norfolk, both in Virginia. The Chester campus was previously located at Fort Lee and the Norfolk campus is located at the Norfolk Naval Base. The German campus is based in Kaiserslautern in the Rhine Ordnance Barracks. The Kaiserslautern military presence is the largest U.S. military community overseas.
The Midwest region has four campuses, two of which are in Ohio. The Ohio campuses are based in Columbus and Kettering. The Kettering campus is the Midwest DAU headquarters and is located to serve the workforce of the Army tank and armaments division and the Air Force materiel command. The other two campuses in the region are in Rock Island, Ill., and Sterling Heights, Mich.
DAU South is headquartered in Huntsville, Ala., near Redstone Arsenal, serving 28,000 DoD acquisitions personnel. DAU South also has two other campuses located in Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, and Warner Robins in Georgia. Warner Robins courses are taught at the Middle Georgia Technical College.
The West region headquarters is based in San Diego at the Fleet Anti-Submarine Warfare Training Center. Two other campuses are based in California at Port Hueneme and Los Angeles. The Los Angeles center serves the Los Angeles Air Force Base. Another campus is located at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
