Technical Schools for Dental Hygienists in Arizona

Dental hygienists clean and scale teeth, examine gums for dental and other healthcare issues, and teach preventative dental care. A career in dental hygiene offers a variety of professional settings and flexible working hours. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2010 to 2011, dental hygienist is one of the fastest growing occupations in America. About half of all hygienists work part-time, whether in a dentist's office, a community clinic, state institutions or schools.
