DC Design Schools

Nestled in a culturally booming metropolis, design schools abound in the Washington D.C. area. Students can travel a short distance to explore the Smithsonian Museum and other famous locations including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts while studying design in D.C. One of the most well-know design schools in the D.C. area is The Art Institute of Washington located just across the Potomac River in Arlington, Virginia. The George Washington University offers Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Fine Arts design degrees in interior design.     Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising

Students at Corcoran College can earn Bachelor of Arts degrees in digital media design, interior design and graphic design; and associates of fine arts degrees in digital media design and graphic design. Master of Arts degrees in exhibition design and interior design are also available to students at this institution.
