Collegiate Rankings of Social Work Schools

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor, "Social work is a profession for those with a strong desire to help improve people's lives. Social workers assist people by helping them cope with and solve issues in their everyday lives, such as family and personal problems and dealing with relationships." Social work involves mixing fields including psychology, sociology and philosophy.

Prospective social work students should think about how they want to focus their career; for example, do they want to work in a clinical field, as an administrator or an organizer? To aid students, the "U.S. News & World Report" publishes rankings of social work schools.
