    • The University of Texas at Arlington's College of Business Administration has Dallas's largest information technology school. It offers bachelor's degrees such as Information Systems and Business Administration in Information Systems. The University of Texas at Dallas's School of Management offers degrees for students interested in the management of information systems (known as the more general Management Information Systems or MIS).

    Ft. Worth

    • Tarrant County College in Fort Worth has an associate of applied science degree in Information Technology--Network & Personal Computer Support.     • Austin Community College has two degrees in information technology: associate of applied science degrees are offered in Local Area Network Systems, with either a Network Administration or a Security Administration Specialization. It also has a certificate program in Network Administration.

    • The University of Texas at San Antonio has a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs available in information technology. Among others, there is a bachelor of business administration degree in Information Systems, a master of business administration degree with a Management of Technology concentration, a master of science in Information Technology and a doctor of philosophy in business administration with an emphasis in Information Technology.
