Students explore and create many bodies of work using digital and analog photography within their chosen concentration. Concentrations include fashion, editorial and commercial photography.     The Brooks Institute

    American Academy of Art

    • Chicago's American Academy of Art offers bachelor of fine arts degree programs in a variety of areas. The eight-semester photography program provides students with insight into both fine art and commercial photography through photography studio experience and classes in areas such as Web design and drawing. Students are evaluated on the basis of their use of photographic techniques and tools and their application of compositional elements in three-dimensional space. Students compile a portfolio throughout the course of the program and design and implement a website to display their work as a final project.

    Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design

    • Colorado's Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design offers students the opportunity to pursue a bachelor of fine arts in photography and video art. The curriculum is designed to give students all of the necessary information for both film and digital photography. It takes 120 credits to graduate. The coursework for this program consists of fine arts core courses, photography and video art courses, studio electives and general liberal arts courses. Examples of classes are form and content, digital color photography, art history and motion design for visual artists.
