Colleges With Dance Degrees

Dance is a rigorous discipline that covers a broad range of styles and techniques, from classical ballet and tap dancing to contemporary dance such as jazz and popular dances. Many colleges offer a program designed specifically for dance as a performance art, preparing their students for a career as a trained dancer or as a skilled dancing instructor. Certain colleges offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Dance, or an equivalent degree, and range from well-rounded liberal arts colleges to religious institutions to colleges focused squarely on the arts.
