The College of the Arts has majors for undergraduate students available in two categories. The Art and Design category features majors in art and design, studio (fine arts), glass (fine arts), general studies in art and design, visual communication design and visual arts education (K-12).
The communication arts category offers majors in audio/video/cinema production, broadcast journalism, journalism, communication, public relations, language arts teaching, theater arts and theater arts teaching.
The College of Science and Humanities at Anderson University has many branches for undergraduate students, including biology, chemistry and physics, computer science, English, history and political science, kinesiology, mathematics, modern foreign language, psychology, religious studies and sociology.
The biology department offers majors in biology, science education and biochemistry. The chemistry and physics department features majors in chemistry and physics, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, and science education. Kinesiology offers majors in kinesiology, athletic training, exercise science and physical education (K-12). Computer science has majors in computer science, business information systems, computer science with concentration in math, and information systems. Mathematics students can major in mathematics, computer science with focus in math, mathematics with focus in economics, and mathematics teaching.
The English department offers majors in English, writing and language arts education. History and political science students have majors available in history and political science, history, political science, political science with focus in economics, and social studies teaching. Modern foreign languages feature majors in modern foreign languages, French, French teaching, Spanish and Spanish teaching.
Sociology students can choose from majors in sociology, criminal justice, family science and social work. Religious studies has majors in religious studies, biblical studies, Bible and religion, Christian studies (in life), Christian studies (in profession), ethics, philosophy and youth ministry. A psychology major is available in the department of psychology.
The School of Theology features an undergraduate major in theological field education. Master's degrees are offered in theological studies, intercultural service and divinity. An online master of arts program in Christian ministry is also available as a major. A doctoral ministry program is also featured in the School of Theology.
The Falls School of Business has undergraduate majors in accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, global business, management and marketing. The master of business administration also has majors available in professional MBA, residential MBA, a master of science in nursing and a combined MBA and master of science in technology. The doctoral program offers a doctor of business administration degree.
The School of Education at Anderson University has undergraduate majors in elementary education, special education, English as a new language, middle school/high school and approved secondary teaching programs (concentration in a particular subject). Graduate education students can choose from majors or programs available in curriculum and instruction or English as a new language as well as license renewal.
Anderson University's School of Nursing offers an undergraduate nursing major. Majors are also available in nursing education, nursing administration and a dual degree in nursing and business administration. The master of science nursing program has majors in nursing, nursing education and a dual degree in nursing and business administration.
The School of Music offers bachelor of music programs in music education (K-12), voice performance and instrumental performance. Bachelor of arts majors in the School of Music include church music, music business, music, dance performance, dance music and a complementary major in dance. A master of music education degree is also available in the school.
The School of Adult Learning at Anderson University has associate's and bachelor's degrees along with with blended online degrees. Majors available for students planning to obtain an associate's degree include general studies, management foundations and Christian foundations. Majors for adult students planning to obtain a bachelor's degree include all the undergraduate majors available at the school. Majors in the blended online degree program include organizational leadership and Christian leadership.
