Located in the Texas/Mexico border city of El Paso, the University of Texas - El Paso offers a variety of choices for students wishing to earn an MBA. This university does not require the GMAT for admission. In lieu of the GMAT, students must prove work experience in business along with providing a variety of letters of recommendation from their professional colleagues and college professors. Students will choose from an accelerated MBA, executive MBA, flexible MBA, full-time MBA and combined MBA/MPA program. Located in Victoria, Texas, the University of Houston - Victoria is a satellite branch of the much larger University of Houston. Students who wish to earn an MBA have the opportunity to gain admission without taking the GMAT. There are several criteria a student must meet in order to gain admission, which include proof of earning an undergraduate degree from an accredited university, an overall GPA of at least 3.0 in all undergraduate studies and a GRE score which is less than five years old. Students must file a waiver with the dean of admissions in order to gain admission without a GMAT score.
