Rush University Medical Center offers a variety of tuition assistance programs to its employees. Full-time employees wishing to pursue a degree outside of Rush University qualify for up to $5,000 per year in tuition reimbursement for up to six credit hours per semester and part-time employees qualify for up to $2,000 per year in tuition reimbursement for up to three credit hours per semester. All classes must be taken at an accredited college or university in a business or medical field. Employees wishing to pursue a degree at the Rush College of Nursing or Rush University may qualify for prepaid tuition. Full-time employees qualify for prepaid tuition of nine credit hours per quarter and part-time employees qualify for prepaid tuition of six credit hours per quarter.

Full-time and part-time employees of Northwestern Memorial Hospital are eligible for tuition reimbursement after a one-year waiting period. Employees may take any course they choose at any accredited college or university and receive full reimbursement for up to $5,250 per year, provided that they pass their classes with a C or better. All employees are immediately eligible upon hire for a 50 percent discount on tuition for classes at Northwestern University that pertain to their employment.

Employees of Saint Anthony Hospital are eligible for tuition reimbursement after a three-month waiting period. Full-time employees are eligible for reimbursement of tuition, fees and books for up to $5,250 per year and part-time employees are eligible for up to $2,500 per year. All classes must be taken at an accredited college or university and be passed with a C or greater.
