Government Grants for Married Students

Married students shouldn't throw away their dreams of getting a college education for fear of juggle family, studies and career, all while forking over the high costs of tuition. Certain benefits such as non-repayable federal grants exist for those who are married and want to further their education. Easing the financial burden may make it possible for those who struggle with the decision to enroll in college.
  1. Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program

    • The Stateside Spouse Education Assistance Program (SSEAP) offers U.S. students, who are married to active duty or retired Army soldiers, financial assistance to pursue a college education in hopes of improving their occupational status. This need-based program also grants financial aid to those who are the widowers of Army soldiers who died while serving on active duty or while in retirement.
