Many organizations offer grants to women seeking educational degrees. While some are restricted to specific areas of study other than architecture, these organizations offer scholarships to women regardless of the field of study they choose to pursue. The American Association of University Women is a gateway to hundreds of grants for women pursuing undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees. Their four main sections include career development grants, international fellowships, selected professional fellowships and American fellowships.
The Business and Professional Women Foundation awards scholarships to non-traditional female students.
The Jeannette Rankin Foundation gives scholarships to non-traditional female students.
The Margaret McNamara Memorial Fund gives scholarships to international women pursuing educational opportunities in the United States.
The PEO provides scholarships to international and American women.
Talbots provides scholarships to women pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees.
There are a variety of scholarships for students pursuing architecture degrees. The following organizations offer scholarships to architecture students for which women may apply:

The federal government offers three major grants based on income for which both men and women may apply: the Pell Grant, the Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant program and the G.I. Bill for students with prior military service. The only way to apply for these is by completing a FAFSA, or free application for federal student aid.
Most colleges and universities have scholarship programs to support undergraduate and graduate studies. Visit the websites of the colleges in which you are interested to see what architectural scholarships are offered, and if any of them are aimed specifically at women. For example, grants are available for students specifically pursuing degrees in architecture at Kansas State University, such as the George F. Hoferer Architectural Engineering Scholarship.
