Go to the College Board website and click on the "Register" link at the top of the page. View the dates the SAT is available to take and the registration deadlines for upcoming testing dates.
Click on the "Register Now" link next to the date you want to take the SAT. Click the "Sign Up" link to register for a College Board account to register for the SAT at your nearest Indiana testing center.
Enter your name, gender, zip code, date of birth, graduation date, email address, your parents' names and email addresses and create a username and password to complete your registration. Read and agree to the terms and conditions and click "Submit."
View your submitted information to verify it; click "Submit" again. Once your account is created you must provide your Social Security number, the name of the Indiana high school you attend, your grade level and your Indiana address and phone number. Save this information by clicking "Continue."
Confirm the date you want to take the SAT and view the Indiana testing locations for students that go to your Indiana high school or live in your Indiana city or town. Choose the location you want to test and have your parents enter their credit card information to pay for the test, which costs $31 as of June 2011.
Confirm your information and submit your request. Print a copy of your confirmation page to keep for your records.
