The Most Important Sociology Questions for the CLEP Test

College Level Examination Program tests offer a way for students preparing to enroll in college to skip introductory courses in certain subjects. The sociology examination contains 100 multiple-choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes. Included are some pre-test questions, used to develop future versions of the exam and not counted on the score. The participant will not know which are pre-test questions. The American Council on Education recommends a score of 50 to pass. Possible scores range from 20 to 80. Test takers are urged to master specific names, dates and concepts from sociological literature, as well as the application of concepts and methods to hypothetical situations, according to College Board's website. Since there is no penalty for incorrect answers, test takers should attempt to answer every question.
