There's no need to worry if you've misplaced your GED transcripts. You are able to get as many copies as you need, regardless of how long ago you took the exam. There are different ways to go about tracking down your GED transcripts, depending upon where the test was administered.

Instructions

      Call or mail your transcript request to your local GED testing center if you took the exam at a school, college or adult education center. Find the center nearest to you on the American Council of Education's website (see Resources).

      Complete the GED Testing Service's online transcript request form, if you took the test while in the military, overseas or in a correctional facility. Find the online transcript request form on the ACE website under "GED Transcript Request Form" (see Resources).

      Contact the General Education Development Center in your state if the ACE website does not provide the information that you need to locate your transcript.
