Visit the official Texas Assessment website (see Resources). The Texas Assessment website has free TAKS tutorials for each grade level required to take the TAKS. You have a choice to print out the TAKS tutorial or view the tutorial on the website.
Click on the grade level for free TAKS tutorials in the "Select Your Grade" section.
Click one of the options for the TAKS tutorials, such as "Interactive" or "Printable." Interactive means you can view the TAKS Tutorial via your web browser in Flash. The interactive TAKS tutorial resembles a video game you would play with an attractive interface. You can print the interactive tutorial; however, you cannot save it onto your computer. Printable means the TAKS tutorial is in PDF format. You can print the tutorial out or you can save the tutorial on your computer.
