How to Determine Your Score on the MFT

The Major Fields Test (MFT) is an assessment of undergraduate and MBA students to test the comprehensive knowledge learned by students in a certain field of study. The MFT gives provides students the opportunity to go above and beyond the basic knowledge acquired in school to show your skills in problem solving and analyzing relationships between problems. Once you take the MFT you can obtain your score within a week of taking the test.

      Take the MFT test. Your scores are determined based on the answers you provide for each of the questions on the exam and are available within one week of taking the exam.

      Check your mail. Test scores are mailed by the ETS (Educational Testing Services) to the address you listed on your application.

      Read your results to know how well you performed on the MFT. Test scores are graded on a scale of 120 to 200 with the exception of the MBA test, which is scored on a 220 to 300 scale and the Associate Business Degree test which is graded on a scale of 520-600. Your score determines how well you did on the exam.
