How Can I Send My TSI Exam Scores to a University?

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) was designated to assess the educational knowledge and learning abilities of all students entering any Texas college or university. The test is used to determine how much knowledge students have in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics. Test scores are used to determine which level of placement students should be in when beginning college; low scores mean students must complete college preparatory classes before they are able to enroll in college credit courses.

Instructions

    • 1

Obtain your TSI scores once the scores are sent to you. Texas colleges and universities recommend you do not wait to send your scores to the campus you are enrolled in.

    • 2

Go to the website of the college in which you are enrolled to obtain the fax number to the admissions office or the mailing address to the admissions office. Mail or fax your test scores to the campus.

    • 3

Deliver your scores in person to the campus of the college in which you are enrolled. Do not wait until orientation to submit your scores; you cannot enroll in any courses until the school has your TSI scores on file.
