1. Experience Requirements:
Have a minimum of two years of experience as an Agile/Scrum trainer or coach, with at least one year of experience specifically with the Scrum framework.
2. Education Requirements:
Possess an active Certified Scrum Master (CSM®) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®) credential from the Scrum Alliance.
3. Training and Assessment:
Complete an approved CST Prep Course. The course provider must be a Registered Education Provider (REP) with the Scrum Alliance.
Pass the CST Assessment. This assessment consists of a written exam, a coaching demonstration, and a peer review.
4. Credential Application:
Submit your CST application through the Scrum Alliance website. You will need to provide your Scrum Master or Product Owner certification number and demonstrate that you meet the experience and training requirements.
5. Credential Fee:
Pay the CST credential fee.
Once you have submitted your application and met all the requirements, your CST credential will be issued and your profile will be updated on the Scrum Alliance website. As a CST, you will be authorized to deliver Scrum Alliance® courses and workshops and use the CST designation after your name.
It is important to note that to maintain your CST credential, you must adhere to the Scrum Alliance's continuing education requirements and regularly renew your CSM or CSPO credential.
