What color is after purple?

There is no color after purple in the visible spectrum. The colors of the rainbow—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet—are the result of the way our eyes perceive different wavelengths of light. Purple, or violet, is the color of light with the longest wavelength that our eyes can see, so there are no colors beyond purple.
