Instructions

    • 1

To begin creating this graduation gift, pick up some plastic Easter eggs or any other plastic eggs that can be opened. You may paint them to be more realistic if desired, such as a robin's egg blue color, the favorite color of the graduate, or the school colors.

    • 2

Fill the eggs with the folded up bills in the amount you are planning to give.

    • 3

Arrange the prepared eggs neatly in the fake bird nest. If there are too many eggs to fit, divide up the extra bills between fewer eggs.

    • 4

If desired, use a hot glue gun to embellish the nest with the "nest eggs" with sprigs of greenery, flowers, feathers or even a decorative little bird.

    • 5

For the finishing touch, add a note or card congratulating the graduate on their accomplishments and wishing them luck, prosperity and success for their future! This would like nice on a small piece of cardstock, hole punched and tied with burlap string. You could also just tuck the note in with the eggs, just make sure it is secure. If you are worried about eggs falling out and losing money, wrap the whole thing up in clear cellophane, placing nest in the middle of the cellophane and then pulling all ends upwards, and tying it with ribbon or string to secure it all together.
