How to Give Credits in Mathletics

Mathletics is a subscription-based, online math practice system for grades K-12, designed to help home-schooled students review math on hundreds of math topics. Students can answer questions in 10-minute increments or compete with students around the world in real-time. Each age-appropriate content area provides a test and students earn points and credits as they progress through the program. Many Mathletics interactive activities provide strategies and patterns while teaching various math concepts. Credits are earned within Mathletics by answering questions and progressing through the program.

Instructions

    • 1
Players can view Mathletics scores through an iPad.

Open the Mathletics application. Choose a level, from one to five, according to the player's age group or math level.

    • 2

Play Mathletics against the computer by answering math questions as fast as you can. Since the ability does not exist within the program to erase an answer by hitting the "backspace" key, there really is no way to cheat the system in order to gain Mathletics credits. Once an incorrect answer is typed into the field, it becomes your final answer for that math question, so thinking ahead before submitting an answer can help you gain credits and points.

Practice Mathletics often. Race other players around the world in real-time within the program to sharpen your current math skill level. Practicing will promote learning and help you retrieve answers faster when playing against the computer. Earn credits in Mathletics by training yourself to be able to give correct answers more quickly. Your total score will be available for you to view, after a round, allowing you to see your progress, points and credits earned.
