Instructions

    • 1

Wash hair at night and apply a quarter-sized amount of styling crème, available at most grocery stores or drug stores. Work the crème through your hair.

    • 2

Create several small braids throughout the hair and secure tightly with elastic hair bands. When braiding, make the braid as tight as possible. Sleep on the braided hair. In the morning, undo the braids and comb through the hair with your fingers. Do not use a brush.

    • 3

Try creating several little buns with wet hair. Secure with hair elastics and sleep on it. In the morning, undo the buns and finger-comb the hair. Do not use a brush.

Use a large-barrel curling iron on damp or dry hair. Select sections of hair that are 1 or 2 inches in size and curl under with the curling iron. Release the curling iron after a few seconds to create loose, soft waves.

Spray dry hair with salt water in a misting bottle. Use enough water so that hair is very damp and can be scrunched using your hands. The salt in the water will help create and hold waves in the hair. Spray lightly with hairspray to secure.
