How to Keep Art in Public Schools

The arts are important to the development of children and teens; art education is linked to strong standardized test scores, according to an article in "Art Ally." Some public schools have considered cutting art programs because of a lack of funding. Encourage public schools to keep art education by following a few simple tips. Although you might not be able to substantially influence the funding a school receives, you can make others aware that art education is important to you and your children.
