The book is divided into two parts. Part one explains how to set up your art area, furniture, equipment and basic supplies. You will find a list of art supplies and a material list, as well as a list of recyclables and things to collect, art terms you will use in the book, recipes for art material and a demonstration. The second part is called "The Art Lessons," which is divided into 11 sections. These sections will show you how to teach texture, line, shape, color, space and form, as well as how to teach the elements of art, the principles of design, three dimensional art and recycled art. Other lessons include teaching art lessons by process and medium, art and famous artists, world and culture based art, holiday and seasons. The second part of the book also gives you a 12-month art curriculum to help organize your classes.
