Contact your child's teacher and inquire about the availability of your child's grades. If you've already established a relationship with the teacher, she might be willing to share your child's grades over the phone or through email. You can also request that a copy be sent home with your child or to your home address.
Access the Miami-Dade County Public Schools official website and locate your child's school under the "School Information" heading. Contact the main office and make an appointment with a school administrator to view your child's transcripts. Bring a photo ID, as most schools will only release this sensitive information to a parent or legal guardian with proper identification. Request a copy of your child's report card or transcript records.
Log on to the Miami-Dade County Public Schools website to view your child's grades. Students have access to their grades via the "Student Portal" database. To view grades, click "Students" and enter your child's student ID number and password. The password consists of the student's two-digit birth month, four-digit birth year and the letters "pw." You can also view your child's grades under the "Parent Portal" as well. If this is your first time using the site, you must visit your child's school and obtain a six-digit PIN number. Enter your child's student ID number, date of birth, birthplace, zip code and your six-digit PIN to view your child's grades. Print a copy for your personal records.
