How to Find My Zoned School for Davidson County, Tennessee

In Davidson County, Tennessee, the schools children attend are determined by the location of their home. The Metropolitan Nashville Public School Board created "zones" for each area of the county based on population size and other demographic information. Such zones are necessary to prevent overcrowding in certain schools and to ensure that each child attends a school in close proximity to his home so that getting him to school will not be an inconvenience.
