How do you find out your teachers first name?

There are several ways to find out your teacher's first name:

* Check the syllabus or course materials: Many teachers include their first name (and sometimes preferred pronouns) on the syllabus or other course documents.

* Look at the school website: The school's website, particularly the staff directory or the department page for your subject, may list teachers' full names.

* Look at the classroom: Their name might be displayed on a nameplate on their desk or on a bulletin board in the classroom.

* Ask a classmate: Your classmates may already know the teacher's first name.

* Ask the teacher directly: If all else fails, politely ask the teacher during class or after school. For example, you could say, "Good morning, [Mr./Ms./Mx. Last Name]. Could I also call you [first name]?" This shows respect while also obtaining the information.

* Check the school's online learning platform: If your school uses a platform like Canvas, Blackboard, or Google Classroom, the teacher's full name is often displayed on their profile.

Start with the easiest methods (syllabus, website) and then move on to others if necessary. Remember to be respectful when asking for their first name.
