Start with the middle section of your display board. This is the section where you will want to display the relevant information relating to the experiment itself. Make up printouts of the title of your experiment, a description of your experiment, graphs and diagrams of your data, and pictures relating to your experiment. Let's say you are doing an experiment on the initial physical momentum of various roller coasters. Think of a catchy title --- for instance, "Six Flags Over Physics." Make sure the font you choose on your description and your graphs is clear and big enough to read. Pick some colored cardboard for a background and glue it with rubber cement directly onto the board with your text, diagrams and pictures glued to the background. This is a sharp and colorful look for your display.
Set up the left panel. Print out a question, a hypothesis and any additional research that will inform the viewer about roller coasters and the principles of momentum. Phrase your question something like, "How much initial momentum does it take to propel a roller coaster all the way through the track related to the length of the track?" Place your question at the top of the panel. Your hypothesis should go just under it with your research at the bottom of the panel. Again, glue your text to colored cardboard backgrounds.
Set up the right panel with printouts of your results and your conclusion. Glue these with rubber cement onto cardboard cutout backgrounds.
