How to Learn to Rhyme

Rhyming words have the same ending sound, but sound different in the beginning of the word. Rhyming is an important skill that teaches children auditory skills, increases vocabulary and helps to improve speech. Three ways to teach rhyming include playing games with children, using rhyming worksheets and teaching children to rhyme with nursery rhymes. These techniques help children to memorize words that rhyme in a way that is engaging for the child.
