How to Make an Educational Data Graph

Data graphs are a powerful tool in the age of visual presentation. Educators use visual and verbal forms of presentation to communicate data to students. You can pore over a sea of numbers. Or, you can animate data by harnessing visual design as a communications device. There are many graph designs: bar, line, area, pie and X-Y. Each style has its own strengths. For those who just need to simply present a numeric trend, you can use the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) to create a line-graph presentation online.
