How do you make bronze and iron its a school thing?

Bronze:

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* 1 cup of copper shavings

* 1 cup of tin shavings

* A crucible

* A furnace or kiln

* Tongs

* A mold

2. Prepare your materials.

* If your copper and tin shavings are not already fine, you will need to grind them down into a powder.

* Mix the copper and tin shavings together in a 9:1 ratio (or by weight, 88% copper to 12% tin).

3. Melt the copper and tin.

* Place the crucible in the furnace or kiln and turn on the heat.

* Once the crucible is hot, add the copper and tin shavings.

* Allow the copper and tin to melt completely.

4. Pour the molten metal into the mold.

* Use the tongs to remove the crucible from the furnace or kiln.

* Carefully pour the molten metal into the mold.

* Allow the metal to cool and solidify.

5. Remove the casting from the mold.

* Once the metal has cooled, you can remove the casting from the mold.

* Your bronze casting is now finished!

Iron:

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* 1 cup of iron ore

* 1 cup of charcoal

* A crucible

* A furnace or kiln

* Tongs

* A mold

2. Prepare your materials.

* If your iron ore is not already in powder form, you will need to grind it down.

* Mix the iron ore and charcoal together in a 7:3 ratio.

3. Smelt the iron ore.

* Place the crucible in the furnace or kiln and turn on the heat.

* Once the crucible is hot, add the iron ore and charcoal mixture.

* Allow the iron ore to melt and the carbon in the charcoal to reduce the iron oxide to iron metal.

4. Pour the molten iron into the mold.

* Use the tongs to remove the crucible from the furnace or kiln.

* Carefully pour the molten iron into the mold.

* Allow the metal to cool and solidify.

5. Remove the casting from the mold.

* Once the metal has cooled, you can remove the casting from the mold.

* Your iron casting is now finished!
