Cover the walls of the classroom with photographs of Italy, the Italian flag, famous Italian buildings and monuments and replicas of art by Italian artists.
Rearrange the seating in the classroom, if the desks are not attached to the floor. If there are single desks, create a rectangle along the outside of the room, or several groups of two or four desks facing inward for a communal feeling.
Fold several pieces of construction paper in half, and list the varieties of pizza available at the party on the inside. These will be your menus. Place a place mat on each desk, and a menu on every other or every three desks so the students can share.
Erect the table in the center of the room and top it with pizza, plates, napkins, cups and soda pop. Stand behind the table wearing the apron.
Invite the students to visit the table in small groups, place their orders buffet-style, and return to their seats to enjoy the meal.
