Do you need gcse for a driving instructor?

In the United Kingdom, in order to become a driving instructor, you need to meet certain requirements set by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA). To become a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) in the UK, you must:

- Be at least 21 years old

- Hold a full UK driving licence for at least three years

- Have passed the ADI Part 1 theory test

- Have passed the ADI Part 2 practical driving test

- Have completed an approved ADI training course

There is no requirement to have GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education) to become a driving instructor in the UK. The main requirements focus on age, driving experience, passing the ADI theory and practical tests, and completing the approved training course.
