Organize your child's play area similar to how a preschool classroom would be arranged. Have a center for art, dramatic play, puzzles, books and other activities.
Encourage your child in each activity by participating with her. Put on dress up clothes, read a book or start painting a picture
Organize special activities throughout the day, such as science experiments or arts and crafts projects.
Play outside when the weather allows for it. If you don't have your own play area, take a walk to a local park or play ground.
Arrange play dates with other preschool aged children. Play dates can take place in one parent's home or at a predetermined location.
