Grab a protractor. Position the “0” line on the protractor up with one of the rays of the angle, and the middle circle on the protractor should be positioned on the vertex of the angle. Look at where the other ray of the angle lines up on the protractor -- this will give you the angle degrees.
If you are calculating degrees of a triangle, input the given angle values into the formula “a + b + c = 180 degrees” and solve for the missing value. If you have an equilateral triangle, “3x = 180” is the formula to use. When dealing with two intersecting lines, use “a + b = 180” and solve for the unknown value.
