Take your pet out and strike up conversation with other Sims who are walking their pets.
Develop a lasting bond between a Sim of your choice by keeping the friendship meter on the green side.
Select the "flirt" options after you have established "friend" status with a Sim.
Continue flirting until the "commitment" options appear. Options include asking the Sim out on a date, giving them a gift, asking them to "go steady," or kissing them.
Select the "marriage proposal" option upon establishing a romantic link between the two Sims.
Arrange a wedding party to finish the marriage ceremony.
