How to Find an Address From an IP Number

Every website has a specific IP number assigned to it. Every time you use the Internet, you do so through a specific IP number assigned by your Internet service provider. IP numbers are registered and cataloged with an associated physical address. To find this physical address, perform a WHOIS search.
