Elementary Correspondence Schools

Not all children can, want or need to go to a school to get their education. The National Center for Education Statistics estimates that nearly one of every 30 American children are educated at home, a 74 percent increase since 1999. Although religious beliefs have historically been a major motivation for parents to teach their children at home, the percentage of parents who do so for other reasons is growing, as well. Correspondence courses can help children learn material that's offered in accredited schools.
