Tell the child to draw two circles approximately 1/2 inch apart. Add two pupils inside the circles for the eyes.
Have him draw a horseshoe around each eye. Connect them in the middle with a line, which represents the nose bridge.
Instruct her to draw a frowning mouth about a 1/4 inch under the eyes. The mouth should be large and the corners of the mouth should extend just past the eyes.
Tell him to draw the outline of the body by drawing a line from about 1/8 inch in from the bottom of the horseshoe shape drawn in Step 2. Draw the outline so it is a "U" shape curving in when at the mouth. The bottom of the "U" should be about three inches from the bottom of the frog's mouth.
Tell her to draw two feet spaced about two inches apart at the bottom of the frog. Draw four toes on each foot. Draw two dots above the center of the mouth to represent the nostrils.
Ask him to draw the legs just above the feet by drawing a "3" that is cut off at the top and bottom on the inside right leg and a backwards "3" that is cut off on the top and bottom of the inside left leg. Draw a "C" that is cut off at the top and bottom for the outside right leg and a backwards "C" that is cut off on the top and bottom of the outside left leg.
