Open a document using your word processing program. Put your contact information at the top center of the page, including your name, address, telephone number and email address. Highlight your name with the cursor and make it bold.
Proceed to the next line and type “Objective,” then type out your objective under this category. Your objective should tell a potential employer your aspirations as a quality control inspector.
Type "Experience and Work History" for the next category section, then list your experience chronologically. This section is important because most quality control inspectors are hired based on their experience in the field. According to BLS.gov, most employers see a high school diploma as sufficient for the position, so experience is a key component. List the name of your previous jobs, job titles and the dates you worked at these jobs. Also, explain at least two duties you performed at each job on your list.
Press "Enter” and then type "Education." In this section list the name of the college you attended, the degree you received, your GPA, and the year you graduated. You may also list your high school information, and any training you have in quality control.
Type "Special Skills" for the next category and then press "Enter" and "Tab." List all of the special skills you have that may help you land a job in quality control. Some examples of special skills include proficiency in writing reviews and being bilingual. "File" and "Save" your resume.
