How to Write a Good Introduction on a Thesis Paper

Assume you want to state your viewpoint in a written thesis. There is no better place to put the main argument than in the introduction. Readers will expect to find it there, so it is important to work on it and make sure to clearly outline arguments, suggested answers and previous work from other scholars. If you cannot write the argument of your thesis in only one or two sentences, you may need to think about it further. In the introduction you first state the question around which the thesis is built up.
