What is a closed paragraph?

A closed paragraph is a paragraph that has a clear topic sentence, supporting sentences that develop the topic sentence, and a concluding sentence that summarizes the main point or transitions to the next paragraph. It's self-contained and complete in its thought. Unlike an open paragraph which might trail off or leave the reader hanging, a closed paragraph provides a sense of closure and finality within its own boundaries.
