Give your writing draft to someone who can read it over and edit it for clarity, structure, punctuation and vocabulary. It is always good to get feedback from other people because they provide a more objective viewpoint to what they think is clear and what they think is blurred in your writing. Have them mark their changes in red in the margins of your writing.
Make a list of the ideas in the draft that seem to be blurred according to those who have read and edited your writing. It is often best to begin to narrow down your ideas to make them more clear; underneath each idea, make another list of smaller, more specific ideas that you can focus on to create more clarity.
Use the edited draft to rewrite a new version of your work. Narrow down your ideas and give them more clarity by simplifying the concepts or elaborating on them. Have the editor review the revisions to see if he can find more clarity in the new draft. Rework the text, using this revision process as necessary.
