Join a language school. Language schools or institutes offer a wide variety of languages including English. Find a school that offers classes that fit your schedule and needs. Take an entrance test to find out what level of English you should begin studying.
Participate in a language exchange program with another student. Most language schools offer language exchange programs which pair you with a native English speaker who is learning your native language. Get together with the English speaker as often as possible and take turns speaking in English and your native language. Language exchange allows you to practice speaking in a relaxed and comfortable environment.
Practice self-study with a language-learning program (see Resources). Download or buy a language-learning software program that allows you to study English at your own pace. Continue until reaching an advanced level where you can carry on conversations with native English speakers and read and write with ease.
Study abroad in an English-speaking country (see Resources). Participate in a study abroad program appropriate for your age level and language skill. Travel to an English-speaking country and immerse yourself as much as possible in the culture. Live with English speakers or participate in social activities that allow you to speak English. Consistently using English for an extended period of time will allow you to reach a high-school level of English.
