Howell Cheney Technical High School offers several courses in welding and fabrication, each worth three credits. These courses are exploratory and introduction to welding and metal fabrication; basics of welding, metal cutting and fabrication; metal fabrication and advanced welding modes and ferrous and nonferrous material welding; and pipe welding and welding certification. Students are able to enter directly into the workforce as welders or pursue a college degree.
