Design the pattern you want for your praise ring. Clean 12 bottle tops, remove the inner linings and discard them. Dip the bottle tops in silver paint one at a time, then remove them and place them on a fine mesh to dry. Insert two ball bearings in each bottle top and fold to enclose the bearings inside, but leave enough room for the needle and the fish line to pass through.
Cut a 30-inch piece of steel wire, and wind it around a small sauce pot to make a nine inch diameter circle resembling a small steering wheel. Hook the extra two inch ends together, and twist the wire to hold it together. Smooth out any jutting metal points. Mark two points, four inches apart on the ring leaving enough room to fit in your palm.
Make a one inch thick ring by winding a blue metallic ribbon around it. Wind another orange brown metallic ribbon in between the four inch space, leaving enough room for your palms. Place the ring on the leather using a flat surface and draw a circle around it. Let the outer part of the leather face upwards and cut the leather to measure the same circumference as the ring.
Sew the edges of the leather tightly to the blue part of the ring using a needle and fish line. Pass the fish line through a bottle top and sew it on the outer part of the leather. Sew a total of seven bottle tops around the circumference of the leather, passing the fish line through the bottle tops to attach them.
Trim the threads to measure four feet in length, and sew them around the blue part of the ring. Sew five bottle tops at the base of the threads with the curved part facing outwards. Write some scripture on both the inner and outer parts of the leather.
Seal each of the threaded bottle tops completely by squeezing them together with a pliers, to hold the ball bearings inside. Your praise ring will resemble a decorated tambourine.
